‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Kristin Kreuk’s Cat to work with ‘Client List’ alum

The latest -There is basically some good and bad news when it comes to Elisabeth Rohm right now. The bad news, pretty clearly, is that “The Client List” has been finally canceled by Lifetime after what was a pretty long stalemate between the producers over the future direction of the show. The good news? She has at least picked up a gig on another show in The CW’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rhom has been tapped to guest-star in a four-episode arc on the show, where she will take on the part of an FBI agent who becomes an ally to Cat in more ways than one. Not only will she assist Kristin Kreuk’s character in some of her investigations, but she could also be more than valuable in peeling off some layers of the past.

As you have seen on “Beauty and the Beast” this season already, we are starting to find out a little bit more about where Cat came from. But, the mystery with her here is that there are so many layers and problems that even she doesn’t know about. She has so much more than she will be destined to find out, and that is something that will start to unfold slowly and surely over the next few weeks. Add to that another problem in Vincent and Tori, who has just made a very important discovery about herself, and she is going to have quite a bit on her plate to deal with.

The one thing that “Beauty and the Beast” as a whole needs to work on right now is pretty darn simple: The ratings. This is a show that is in danger of getting the ax right now as the lowest-rated show on the network airing from Monday to Thursday, and while it is seemingly keeping steady at a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic these days, that will likely not be enough unless some other shows plummet. We know that the network likes having a product from this studio, but that only goes so far.
