‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Hetty’s confrontation

More scoop -Tuesday night’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode is going to be a big one for a couple of important reasons. Not only is there going to be some relentless action interspersed throughout it, but there is also going to be a story that has some rather enormous implications for one of our characters in particular: Hetty. By the time this hour is over, Henrietta may not actually be employed anymore. As a matter of fact, she would be lucky to be anything other than a target of great scorn from the government over what they will believe to be the mismanagement of a very important situation.

Basically, Hetty could potentially be blamed for a man in Griffin setting off a bomb that could end up causing a mass trail of death and destruction, even though she is not involved in any way with the planning process or this man pulling the trigger. This is just a case of making a move in the past that she felt to be right, and then having to pay for the gamble not paying off after the fact.

Let’s of course mention here what is the most-likely event to come out of this episode: Hetty and the team find a way to stop the bombing from ever happening, and the entire group manages to keep on doing what they’re doing. We don’t really think about the story in terms of whether or not anything will actually happen to the character; instead, we try to think more in terms of what is going to
