‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, episode 5 review: Did Daryl finally learn about Carol’s exit?

More news -Who would have imagined that “The Walking Dead” would get more than one episode out of burn out of the issue of Carol leaving the prison? As strange as it may sound, it’s true.

We know that there are some moments during Sunday night’s “Internment” that likely matter more to some people, but to us, the one that stands out as paramount was finding out that the moment of Daryl learning the truth about Rick’s actions is coming … but it is not there yet. That is right: Apparently, at this point people care more about Daryl and Carol to make it a cliffhanger than even The Governor … who is back.

Just as you would expect, David Morrissey’s character is turning up at the worst possible time. Just when it looks like the prison is completely falling apart, this guy shows up like a complete creep and just stares at the group in all of their chaos. Nobody knows that he is back just yet, or that he probably has some sort of evil maniacal-laugh plan to figure out what he wants to do from here on out. But, we can really assume that it cannot be good.

On the death count tonight, the biggest name that we lost was Caleb, who was in a pretty bad place. It’s not that much of a shocker to see that he is gone, given that he was pretty banged-up, and the only eulogy that we will be writing here is that he is a guy that, if he was healthy, he would have been of use to thee group. While it is not looking good for either Sasha or Glenn, they are still okay for now. We don’t think that the show would kill Glenn given what he means, but who knows about the other?

This was a great episode and arguably the best of the season (even sans Carol), but the one thing that the writers need to be careful of at this point is not putting too much emphasis on the craziness, and allowing the characters to suffer. We are just a few insane, depressing twists from the happening. But for now, nice job? Grade: B+.

If you want to see what lies ahead on “the Walking Dead,” we advise you personally to just head on over to the link here. We’ll have some more scoop soon.
