‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7: What former guest stars wrote Howard’s song to Bernadette?

The latest -Last night on “The Big Bang Theory,” we had an opportunity to hear what may be the sweetest gesture that Howard has ever given to Bernadette, and in turn, it may have also been the best example to date as to why Bernadette puts up with all of his nonsense, because at the end of the day, there is a core of sweetness to Howard under all of that anger and frustration.

What you may or may not have known is that the entire song was actually written by two people who have actually been on the show in different capacities in Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, with the latter in particular playing a very important part on the show last year as Raj’s love interest Lucy. (We also know that she will be back at some point in the future, though her future with Raj is hush-hush.) These two have been writers and performers for some time, and this was actually one of the few shows where we did not see Micucci pick up a ukulele and actually start performing. For more on that, just take a look at some of her contributions to either “Raising Hope” or “Scrubs.”

This song also ended up having a major contribution, as well, to people in need as the proceeds from it are going to an important organization in MusiCares to help artists and musicians who give much of themselves to try to perform and entertain the masses. You can pick up your copy of the song here.

As we said in our full review of this episode last night, this episode had almost everything that you could hope for from an hour of “The Big Bang Theory,” as there was not only a fun performance, but also a story that was all about Sheldon finding a place in the history books, but it was not quite how he had expected it to be.

Just in case you missed the song or you want to watch it a few more times today (which you might, given that it is pretty addictive), take a look at it in the video below.
