ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 notes: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Molly Quinn, and more

The answer -While there has not been too much in the way of major “Castle” scoop from the past 24 hours to share, why not take a look at some of the little stories that should give you a reason to smile today?

Let’s start with the big news that is up over on the People’s Choice Awards official site: Voting has begun! Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, the show itself (in both drama and crime drama), Ryan and Esposito (in a little something known as the “bromance” category), and Castle and Beckett for On-Screen Chemistry. It’s a nice little array of awards for the show this year, and “Castle” has been successful there. Fillion in particular has won his category on a couple of occasions now, even overcoming the massive fan following of “Supernatural” in order to do so. Given what we know about this following, there’s a good shot that almost every one of these categories can be won, specially with the way in which the People’s Choice Awards choose to divide up categories in the way in which they do.

As for some other “Castle” updates on season 6 proper, why not share a few episode title details for the unaware?

1. Monday night, we of course have the “Da Vinci Code”-esque episode “Get a Clue,” which you watch a preview for over at the link here.

2. The following week, there is “Like Father, Like Daughter,” which to us suggests that somehow, Molly Quinn’s Alexis is going to be involved. (But what about Pi?)

3. Finally, November 11 brings us to “A Murder is Forever,” which makes us think of diamonds for the obvious reason. The only problem that comes into play here is that Beckett’s already got herself the ring, so what else could she really be looking for here?

Monday’s “Castle” will introduce us to Alexis’ new place, but we also don’t imagine too many major shockers given that it’s not airing in the November sweeps. There are still some coming up, but they will take place a few episodes down the road after such an intense start to the season.

Of course, we’ll have more on all things “Castle” season 6 here as soon as they become available. You can also read another title over at the link here from later this season.
