‘Homeland’ season 3, episode 3 preview: A grisly Damian Lewis sneak peek (video)

Ever since the “Homeland” season 3 premiere earlier this fall, there has been a question that has understandably been on the mind of many fans: Where in the world is Nicholas Brody? We imagine that the answer here is going to be a little bit more difficult to figure out than where in the world is Carmen Sandiego.

In the video sneak peek below, you can see what appears to be just a taste of the journey for Damian Lewis’ character. He is at first carted through the jungle in a car, and then taken out of the car with his body appearing limp and disheveled (and also bald). It’s a shocking sight to look at, and it makes you wonder not just what he has went through since arriving in this tropical location, but also how he managed to get there in the first place, We imagined that this in itself was a difficult task, especially since he was heading north the last time that we saw him.

What is interesting about this episode (entitled “Tower of David”) is that there is no real guarantee that you are going to be seeing anything that you’re hoping for when it comes to Brody’s story. The show may jump ahead and touch on a few plot points, since what really matters more than anything else is getting the opportunity to see where he ends up rather than what he did to get there. Expect an emotional episode, but be prepared to also see plenty of story revolving around Dana in the process.
