‘American Dad’ season 10 spoilers: Kim Kardashian cast to play … alien

Are you ready to see “American Dad” become somehow even more extraterrestrial than they already are with Roger on board? Well, you will a little later this year courtesy of a reality TV star who some seem to occasionally believe is from some sort of alternate universe.

According to Entertainment Weekly, E! star Kim Kardashian is going to voice the character of a “furry alien” in an episode airing late into season 10, and will even be a love interest of sorts to the Roger character, as she hails from a different world than his own. It should be an opportunity for the show to not only draw some more attention to itself, but to Kim to actually prove that she understands that it’s easy to make fun of her career, and it is better sometimes to just embrace it and go along for the ride. (Plus, this role could give some whole new meaning to the rap interlude by Kanye West in Katy Perry’s song “ET.”)

“American Dad” is launching its new season on Sunday, and this is only one of the many people who is going to be guest-starring on the show this season. Kardashian joins the likes of Zooey Deschanel, Alison Brie, and many more famous ladies to appear. While you can sit here and say that Seth MacFarlane is going a little bit overboard when it comes to the guest stars, remember this: “American Dad” airs against a million different things, and will probably be against “Game of Thrones” come the time that Kim appears. They really can use all of the help that they can get.
