ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Scoop on ‘Dreamworld,’ Stana Katic’s quest

Usually when you have an episode coming up in less than a week’s time, a network will have released some sort of official synopsis for almost a full week before that. However, things were a little bit different this year when it came to “Castle” season 6, and for one simple reason: They did not want to reveal much of anything surrounding whether or not Beckett was going to say yes to the proposal, or about the twist at the end suggesting that Rick was only going to have a short amount of time to live thanks to inhaling some deadly poison.

Now that all of these spoilers are out of the way, we can now finally share the official synopsis for “Dreamworld,” which is going to air on Monday and will also hopefully answer quite a few questions as to just what is going to transpire. Based on what we are seeing here, we can at least confirm that Stana Katic’s character is not going to just sit by and let some terrible things happen to him:

“Continuing from the season premiere episode, Beckett races against time to find a stolen toxin capable of killing tens of thousands of people. To make matters worse, Castle was exposed, leaving him with less than 24 hours to live.”

The rub anytime that you have a major medical crisis happen like this is that some of the natural tension that would be there is reduced slightly by the doubt that “Castle” would really kill its main character. Could you imagine the show without Nathan Fillion? We sure couldn’t. But, what we would say is this: Even if you are pretty confident that the man is going to survive, that does not necessarily equate to him being happy. There are still a plethora of other bad things that could have transpired with him being in this situation.
