MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: Jenna Hamilton hits rock bottom in newest trailer

The latest trailer for “Awkward” season 3 has been released, and there is one thing that is very clear after watching it: This is not going to be a happy tale for Jenna Hamilton. As a matter of fact, we are about to be very close to watching her life go completely and utterly down the tubes over the course of the hour. This is going to be a dark, depressing series of episodes ahead, and while there will be laughs, there are also moments when you will sit there and wonder what exactly Matt did to deserve this.

Basically, let’s take a look at Matty’s journey since season 2. He watched Jenna date his best friend, and then go back and forth for quite a while over who she wanted to ultimately be with. Then, she also started to freak out when he was temporarily living with her, and now, she is cheating on him with one of her classmates in Collin. Jenna is our heroine, but at the same time it’s getting very hard to root for her just courtesy of some of the terrible things that she is doing.

Well, we are seeing already that her cheating is going to continue beginning with the show’s October 22 premiere, even after some of her friends try to clue her into the terrible things that she is doing. Tamara is actually going to catch her in the act, and her parents are even at one point going to threaten to tear her out. This is basically an emotional bender, and it’s going to be a hard one for her to recover from while remaining the same person that so many people enjoyed watching on TV.
