‘The X Factor’ USA: Emblem3 performs new single ‘3000 Miles’ on ‘Arsenio Hall’

The latest -“The Arsenio Hall Show” is turning out to be quite a source for news this week, no? Following some of the other stories that we’ve picked up there involving Mark Harmon, we now have a performance on the show from none other than Emblem3 of “The X Factor” season 2. We don’t think any of these guys are old enough to remember when Hall was on the air the first time, but any talk-show appearance for them is good news as they continue to promote their album “Nothing to Lose.”

Emblem3 probably appreciated this TV appearance more so than many others. Why? It’s coming at a time when they have been busy touring with Selena Gomez, and they haven’t been able to do that many of these sort of gigs. Then again, being on tour with someone as popular as Selena is something that you constantly want smile about anyway; it’s publicity with one of the most-popular young artists out there, and if you can get them to enjoy you as an opening act, then you have the ability to pick up a few fans in the process.

Emblem3 performed here mere days after the premiere of “The X Factor” season 3, and we personally believe that there are actually fewer people watching this show than what the audience acted like when Arsenio introduced the group. With just a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, Simon Cowell is going to have a tough time finding another star on the Emblem3 level. Even the British show draws better viewers, despite being a much smaller country in size and population.
