‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 video: Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, and many steamy scenes

While Stefan and Elena may not be together on “The Vampire Diaries” going into season, that apparently does not mean at all that we are going to see Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev interacting in a number of other unusual ways.

In the brand-new extended promo below for the new season, Katherine and who appears to be Silas get hot in heavy in a scene involving a tub. Also, there is questions about why she is in Damon’s tub to begin with … and the simple answer is that Katherine and him have become unlikely roommates. (Oh, and there may be a pretty big problem that surfaces here, given that Elena does not know just what the two are up to.)

There are some moments in this promo that you have seen in others, including the joke from Damon at the very end when he says that he’s going to go insane (more or less) if he hears the word “doppelganger” said one more time. The biggest thing that we do take from this is that it serves as some sort of evidence that Silas is going to be found out about who he really is sooner rather than later, given that there would not be a reason otherwise for this to be included in a trailer. (Only so much of the season has been shot.)
