‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ review: Why Teresa Giudice – Melissa Gorga drama lives on
For a little while on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” we genuinely thought that we had finally reached the point in which peace could be possible. Everyone could take in a few deep sighs, and enjoy the trip in Arizona … maybe.
It was not long after this that we had even more evidence that there is almost no way that Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga will ever get along on this show, as we saw Joe Gorga lash out over whether or not Teresa really was behind her sister-in-law being the subject of tabloid rumors. To us, this was all the evidence we needed about this family being incapable of actually making a relationship work on TV. They all know that Bravo wants entertainment, and they want screen time. Therefore, they are going to do things to be confrontation, and say things that could cause drama in pursuit of fame. Nobody performs a self-indulgent song like “On Display” unless they subversively enjoy it.
With all this, let’s write the future of this show out now: There will always be conflict between this group so long as they are a part of the show. As soon as fighting stops becoming a currency for their reality TV careers, they will be able to stop. Until that time, the rest of this show is really going to be just all about fighting, more fighting, and occasional resolution in order to keep things fresh.
What do you think about tonight’s episode, and do you think that there is any hope that these two would ever actually resolve their differences on the show? If you don’t want to real some more news related to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” just be sure to follow the link here.
