‘CSI’ season 14 spoilers: Jason Priestley joins 300th episode as…
The 300th episode of “CSI” continues to get more and more intriguing, at least based on some of the names that are continuously surfacing for the show.
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, the landmark drama has picked up none other than the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Jason Priestley as a casino mogul in Las Vegas who ends up becoming a bizarre reclusive after some events in his life cause him to take a turn for the worse. While this may be a basic outline of this part, there are still some other major mysteries out there about who this guy really is within the context of the show. Is he villain in the past, or the present? What makes this episode interesting is that there are going to be some flashbacks to a very early case from the show’s history, but one that could be seen in a very different light.
This is only the latest edition to an episode that already has quite a nice pedigree to it. In addition to Marg Helgenberger coming back to help celebrate this occasion with the gang, “One Tree Hill” alum Bethany Joy Lenz is also going to be stopping by. Unfortunately, there is also some controversy associated with this episode, as well, following the revelation that George Eads has been placed on a leave of absence following some sort of dispute with a pregnant member of the show’s writing staff.
The new season of “CSI” kicks off starting on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, but you won’t have to wait too long until this episode airs.
