‘Under the Dome’ episode 12 preview: First look at last episode before finale
With just two episodes left until “Under the Dome” is over for the summer, there are understandably a few questions worth asking like who is going to make it out of this season alive? We have a feeling that the answer to that is not going to be “everyone.” Some more bodies will probably fall by the end of this season, but we’re just glad to be there for the ride and to witness all of the carnage that is coming up.
But before we get to anything else here, we have to start off by getting specific about “Exigent Circumstances,” which is the rather oddly-named episode airing on CBS next week. Big Jim is going to continue his reign of terror, and that includes his rather vicious strategy of doing just about everything that he can to turn everyone in Chester’s Mill against Barbie. You can get a sense of some of that in the synopsis below:
“While the manhunt for Barbie continues, Big Jim gets the residents of Chester’s Mill riled up and the town demands justice for all of Barbie’s supposed crimes. Meanwhile, Joe and Norrie must find a new hiding place for the mini dome.”
As for what the motivation there is for Jim’s actions it’s pretty easy to see that he does not want to see the dome go down. This is a guy who is clearly against almost the entirety of the town, but is so feared and/or charismatic that he can convince them that he is actually on their side. This is why CBS has to be thanking their lucky pink stars for Dean Norris, though it is rather weird watching him one night on “Breaking Bad,” and then immediately on his other show a mere 24 hours later.

I love this show, this is epic, it keeps getting better and better every episode. Boy, I did not see all this action coming last night. Barbie you are the Monarch, its obvious, Julia hang in there, witch bitch and her mom are gone, no more Maxine. Linda use your pretty little head, Big Jim, although I like his character is a liar, and what he did to my Barbie, his ass needs to be drowned also. Love this show, I love it. Have me yearning for more. I overdosed on UTDome cool-aid.

And while am at it, producers… didn’t you hit the dome will a weapon of mass destruction? Because when the chosen ones touched it, the other side did not a baron waste land look like a baron wasteland as in a previous episode, but a leafy green haven

This was pitched as an ‘EVENT’, which meant that it was supposed to wrap up everything. Have loved it, but what I thought was going to be epic (like V in the 80’s) is now going to be pushed and pulled for another season… because it’s all about the money… and when we all get fed up with it after 4 seasons, it… like many shows… will finish without it’s true end.
