‘Saturday Night Live’: Has Lindsay Lohan really been asked to host premiere?

More news -Saturday Night Live” have become a staple of our weekend for many weeks a year, so any opportunity that we have to hear about a potential host coming up in the future, we start to get tremendously excited. Sadly, it’s hard to get really excited when the person that we’re talking about is Lindsay Lohan.

Is she in a better place in her life now than when she last hosted in the spring of 2012? Sure, but the “Real Housewives of Disney” was the only notable sketch on the night that she was a part of. It was painfully obvious the rest of the time that she was lagging far behind her fellow cast members, and the writers clearly did not have much inspiration for her.

So to hear the report from Radar Online that Lindsay is being considered for a gig? Not really something that we can jump up and down about. Luckily, the good news is that this is Radar that we are talking about here (which is not exactly a reliable source). With that, we have a couple of things that we can tell you now.

1. Gossip Cop reports via a source close to Lohan that the claim is not true, and she is not booked to host the show.

2. We can also tell you that there is no confirmed host yet for the premiere, though you should find it out via NBC at some point soon after Labor Day Weekend. “SNL” does like to announce their premiere host a reasonable amount of time in advance, mostly because it helps to get a huge audience assembled. We’d expect a pretty big star for the first episode.
