‘New Girl’ season 3 spoilers: The downfall of Winston’s latest relationship

It’s not often that you can guarantee that a TV relationship is not going to last even before a new season starts, but when it comes to “New Girl” season 3, it was pretty obvious in terms of the “bond” that Winston supposedly has with his girlfriend Daisy that they were not going to last.

Why? There are a number of different reasons why. For one, this is Winston that we’re talking about here, and it feels almost like no matter what the man does at this point, it really does not end up working very well for him. Also, Brenda Song is not going to be a part of the show anymore thanks to the new job that she has on the new controversial Fox series “Dads,” where she is now a series regular.

According to TV Guide, “New Girl” does already have itself a pretty reasonable plan in place to deal with this exit. They are going to write the character off with the following logic within the first couple of episodes: Winston is ready for something serious now, and Daisy was not exactly on that level. This means that he is back on the market, and the good news is that there could be another opportunity for him to find love in the future.

But what do we personally want to see for Winston? Rather than just another romantic story arc, we’re hoping to see something along the lines of a series of epic back-and-forth arguments between himself an Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.), who is returning a few episodes into the season in his old role from the show’s pilot.
