‘Under the Dome’ episode 9 preview: Natalie Zea arrives on the scene and more

Just how difficult is life “Under the Dome” about to be? If you thought the story was rough on some of these characters the past weeks, the next several episodes are going to be throwing some of them straight into a metaphorical fire. Suddenly, the biggest threat to survival will be each other, and a power struggle will form in the midst of some very weird and supernatural events.

Next Monday’s episode is entitled “The Fourth Hand,” and the promo below gives you just a small taste of what some of this creepiness is going to be. Meanwhile, the official press release teases the debut of Natalie Zea (“The Following”) as Maxine, a woman that could end up having a very important role in this story before it is all over:

“Big Jim and Barbie discover their lives are more intertwined than they knew when a mysterious woman, Maxine, shows up unexpectedly in Chester’s Mill.”

Maxine’s connection to Big Jim has been hinted at in previous casting announcements for this character, but there are still some important questions that need to be asked when it comes to this character. For one, is she dangerous, and is she from outside of the dome, or some hidden part from within? Given that so many of the folks in Chester’s Mill have become some acquainted with each other as of late over these close quarters, any sort of outsider is at this point going to be met with an insane level of curiosity.
