‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Orphan Black’ star to lend Katie Cassidy a hand
A certain attorney in the world of “Arrow” is about to get a visit from the clone club … though sadly, it will not be one of Tatiana Maslany’s clones. According to TVLine, her “Orphan Black” co-star Dylan Bruce is going to guest star on a pair of season 2 episodes of “Arrow,” where he will play the part of Adam Donner, a smart, charismatic attorney who shows up to lend Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance a helping hand.
Specifically, Donner will be featured in the first and third episodes of the season, but probably not more than that for a very specific reason. Thanks largely in part to the BBC America show starting up filming this fall in Toronto, he’s not going to have very much time to spend in Vancouver. If he does come back after this, his only real opportunity could be later this spring, if “Orphan Black” is done with filming by that time.
“Arrow” has become a sensation for The CW, like “Orphan Black” has for its own network, in just one season on the air, and it is bracing for the start of some new stories on Wednesday, October 9. At the moment, the biggest stories planned are ones regarding Oliver Queen continuing to try to balance being a hero with also being a rich guy who has the media constantly on him. Meanwhile, Laurel is making the jump over to prosecution in the wake of Tommy’s death, and will thus be working in her own way to get some bad guys behind bars. While Laurel may not become the Black Canary this year, there will at least be some things that are put into motion for that to happen.
