‘Under the Dome’ episode 7 preview: A dome within a dome

When CBS looks at the massive ratings (which have also remarkably stayed consistent) for “Under the Dome” so far this season, they probably ask themselves one important question: How do we keep this up? Viewers clearly love domes since they keep on watching the show, so why don’t we try to incorporate as many more of these into the show? BRING ON THE DOMES?!

Okay, we are being slightly facetious, but the sneak peek below feels like a combination of dome dementia and the hatch from “Lost,” which makes us think that there may be a little version of Desmond Hume inside of that egg rocking out to “Make Your Own Kind of Music.” Oh, and isn’t it also funny that we have both a hatch and an egg included here?

In the new sneak peek we have Norrie and Joe making the discovery, and then sitting around and wondering what exactly is inside the egg. If we were just playing the super-crazy brainstorm game, we’d like to imagine that Lady Gaga would come out wearing a meat dress and hugging all of her ” little monsters”. At least it’d be a little different then some sort of alien pod… if the dome has something to do with aliens we aren’t going to be impressed.
