ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Justin Hartley’s premiere surprise

What is going to transpire on the third season of “Revenge”? The first thing that you should expect to see is a great deal of Justin Hartley, who has already been cast for a pretty integral role of Patrick. He is the secret son of Victoria Grayson, and someone who is going to get significantly closer to her in the time that we’ve spent away from the Hamptons at the start of the new season.

So what are we going to see from him specifically? While some details are not entirely clear just yet, it appears as though Justin could feasibly appear on the first episode back via horseback, as evidenced by a new post on his Twitter account. Can we really be that surprised by this? We really shouldn’t be and for a number of reasons. For example, this is the Hamptons, land where very rich people do very rich things like ride around on horses. Also, it’s yet another sign that Victoria and Patrick are on pretty good terms at this point, given that she would let him ride around via horseback. (We’re pretty sure that these magnificent creatures do not belong to him.)

But what sort of role can Patrick really have in the middle of all this? Given what Conrad has going on when it comes to the political world, he could play spoiler to it in some shape or form in digging up some elements of his wife’s past. He could be therefore an ally to Emily Thorne, or an enemy depending on how he interacts with both her and Daniel.
