‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ review: Analyzing the Joe Giudice – Joe Gorga fight
What we had on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” tonight was not exactly good television, save at least for the part where Caroline Manzo was hilariously afraid of a bridge that was obviously well-constructed and not going anywhere.
What we have that was fairly appalling was that massive fist-fight between Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga, which has admittedly been months upon months in the making. So what really spawned this specifically? It was a series of things, but Joe Gorga calling his sister “scum” was really the final nail and coffin. The fists went up, and it was actually a scary situation to watch unfold.
As for what made this entire ordeal even stranger, these couples were supposed to be at a retreat this week to work on their relationships! How does all of this happen? The saddest part of this, as we’ve said again, is that these are not people on the “Jersey Shore” fighting with each other after getting drunk. They’re parents, and their kids are old enough to understand some of this and will have to deal with the ramifications when they go to school and their classmates talk about it.
We have to hope that this entire ordeal will be the catalyst for change; maybe at this point these people will realize that what they are doing on TV is more than just hurtful to each other; it’s also hurtful to their family, and people in their lives who are not even a part of this show. We like to think that everyone has a wake-up call in their lives, and maybe this is it.
What did you think about this “Real Housewives of New Jersey” episode, and who do you think was at fault when it comes to this fight? If you want to check out some more coverage of this event, just be sure to head on over to the link here.

I don’t think those “team builders” will be getting new clients any time soon. They totally lost control of the situation.

I really feel it was Melissa’s fault. If she didn’t have her little dramatic episode, getting down on her knees, begging and pleading (and trying to kiss Teresa’s ring) the may have been able to tal some things out. She knew exactly what she was doing. She wanted to charge up her husband so much that nothing would get accomplished.Maybe she does have something to hide and this is her way of derailing any conversation that might bring it out??
At first I really thought there was some jealousy between Teresa and Melissa that was behind all the conflicts, but now I’m kinda starting to see what Teresa’s talking about.
