‘Under the Dome’ episode 4 preview: Another look at ‘Outbreak’

An “Outbreak” is coming on “Under the Dome” Monday night, and the question that comes with that is who is going to be able to avoid it. Judging from the one sneak peek below, it appears as though one of the people in trouble is going to be a member of local law enforcement.

So what exactly is going on? Basically, the residents of Chester’s Mill are in one of the worst situations possible. The Army is basically abandoning them at this point, and while they were not really even able to offer any sort of support in the first place, it is still surprising that they would choose to check out of the area at this point. Why go away so soon, and why not try harder to actually communicate with some of the people on the inside? There is something that smells very fishy about this whole situation.

By the end of this episode, hopefully the townspeople will have figured out some sort of way in which to handle the medical crisis that awaits them, and they are going to need to learn how to sustain their life under the dome using just the materials that are available for them. (Hopefully, at some point in the season they’ll show us how exactly they find all of the water that they need in order to survive.
