‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Lea Michele’s campaign; Chris Colfer’s book

Glee

As we start to inch ever closer to the premiere of “Glee” season 5 on September 19, we are also getting near the time in which summer vacation (if you can even call it a vacation to begin with) for many of these actors is really going to be over. This means early mornings, late nights, and plenty of bonding time working with each other on the set. Few shows put their cast through this much work, especially when you remember that in addition to shooting regular scenes, there are dance rehearsals and recording sessions to do.

For now, though, all Lea Michele really wants for you is to cast some votes in her direction for the Teen Choice Awards. In a post on her Twitter account, she was kind enough to post the generous details:

“You guys are the BEST! I’d love to win this #TeenChoice Award for you all! Vote for me here! :) http://bit.ly/Vote4Lea “

We personally consider Lea to be the favorite right now to walk away with the trophy for Choice TV Actress (Comedy), mostly because it is a show that she has dominated in the past, and it also airs on the same network that she work with in Fox.

As for Chris Colfer, his time right now is spent preparing the release of his latest chapter in The Land of Stories series. In a post on his Instagram page, he shared what will be the purple cover for the book, with the excitement that he actually has a series now. Subtitled “The Enchantress Returns,” the book will be in stores on August 6. (You can pre-order it here.)
