The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 7 preview: The epic finale…

Next week AMC is going to bring to you The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 7 — in other words, the most important installment yet. This is the finale! Not only that, but there are so many questions about what the story will be — and of course, how it will end.

First and foremost, you have to confront the reality that we learned about at the end of episode 6 — or, to be more specific, the fact that Louis and Lestat are dead. How can they not be? They got their heads taken off! This is not one of those cliffhangers where the powers-that-be are trying to make you wonder one way or another. This feels definite, though at the same time, we already have some evidence that for at least one character, it will not entirely stick. We saw Louis at that auction at the start of the season!

While there may not be some abundance of information out there yet about episode 7, we know that it has the challenge of getting us from point A to point B and filling in a lot of cracks. Take, for example, who potentially brings at least Louis back. Also, why Armand is in that eyepatch!

Beyond all of this, you do have to wonder whether or not anything is going to happen to better set the stage for a season 4 of the Anne Rice adaptation. At the time of this writing, not much has been confirmed here one way or another — but on the strength of critical acclaim and viewership alone, we are willing to categorize this as either a foregone conclusion or something close to it.
