The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 6: The Louis, Lestat shocker

We knew coming into The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 6 that this was going to be an installment like no other based solely on the hype alone. Yet, somehow the end result was even more substantial than we ever could have imagined?

Just consider for a moment here what we actually got in the closing seconds — the presumed deaths of both Louis and Lestat. Also, just how sudden it was, as Armand and Daniel managed to execute a pretty sadistic and thought-out plan. It happened right as Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid’s characters had rekindled some sort of relationship, and also after they went through a number of significant / emotional life events. Lestat was forced to confront the relationship he has with his mother, and both men had to face an infuriated Claudia in spirit form, something that very-much went different from what either of them initially expected.

So is there any way at all to bring the two of them back? This is very much the question that you have to wonder at present, and it is also where we turn a little bit of our focus over to people who could possibly help. Given that we just had a Mayfair in tonight’s episode, could the family cast some sort of resurrection spell? Or, could Akasha be involved in bringing the two back? It seems crazy to imagine any of this given that they were beheaded!

However, think back to that estate auction at the start of the season — Louis was there, suggesting that somehow, at least he is going to find his way back to the realm of the living. As for Lestat, that remains to be seen … though faking his death was a part of the plan even before his actual demise took shape.
