Love Island USA season 8 episode 35 (finale): Who won?

Who won Love Island USA season 8? This season has had its fair share of ups and downs and yet, it feels entering the final episode that we could be gearing up for something more straightforward.

After all, consider for a moment who the final four couples are in Aniya & Carl, Trinity & Bryce, Melanie & Sincere, and Kayda & Zach. Not to be overly harsh, but you can almost rule out the latter two immediately. It is so much easier to win on this show if both the man and the woman in the couple have fans. There are multiple instances this season where Zach has frustrated America, and suffice it to say, Sincere’s history with the public is even worse. Melanie and Kayda alone are almost certainly not going to lift them to wins.

Trinity & Bryce felt like the frontrunners going into tonight as they really have been a steady force throughout the season. They have had this wonderful friends-to-lovers arc that is rare for reality TV and no real major scandals along the way. Sure, at one point Bryce pulled Kayda for a chat, but Trinity also had that kiss in the photo booth! They both explored within the scope of the show but always came back to each other. Aniya & Carl have had a late-season fairy-tale romance despite her initially eliminating him and if they end up together, it may be due to the fascinating story arc here. Also, they are incredibly sweet together.

Who is the actual winner?

Well, here is where things stand in an official capacity. In fourth place, we had Kayda & Zach. Meanwhile, in third place we had Melanie & Sincere. Aniya & Carl were in second, and that makes Trinity & Bryce the winners!
