Is there any chance that we are going to hear more regarding a Boston Blue season 2 premiere date between now and the end of July? What about other intel on what is to come in general?

We would certainly understand if you were a fan of the Blue Bloods spin-off and starting to get antsy at this point. How can you not? It has been well over a month now since the end of season 1 and at this point, we tend to be inching closer to when premiere dates are confirmed for the fall. Is that likely to happen here, as well? From where we sit, let’s just go ahead and say that we are pretty darn optimistic. We would be shocked if there is no press release for the entirety of CBS’ fall schedule by the end of the month. As a matter of fact, we will be confident in stating that more than likely, we are going to hear something more over the next couple of weeks. All things considered, why wouldn’t we?

Our general feeling is that Boston Blue is going to return by the time we get around to late September or early October. Our general feeling is that over the next month we could get a few more details on the story, as well.

Are more Blue Bloods alumni going to appear?

For now, it does appear that there is a reasonably good chance that we are going to see this — as a matter of fact, we would be somewhat shocked in the event that this doesn’t happen. Remember that we are talking about a series here that has a really tight-knit cast from the past! It already feels clear that at the very least, Marisa Ramirez will be returning as Maria Baez.
