Love Island USA season 8 episode 13: Shocking recoupling results!

We knew heading into tonight’s Love Island USA season 8 episode 13 that there would be a recoupling that took place. However, having it happen via love letters? Truly diabolical.
As a viewer, the real problem here was just waiting to get to the part where everything got a little bit messier — after all, the first part of this was super-predictable since there are a number of stable couples right now and no clear evidence that this is about to change.

Bryce & Trinity – This feels easily like the most stable pair at this point, mostly because it feels so genuine a lot of the time.
KC & Aniya – They honestly needed this in order to move forward as a strong couple. They were honest here in a way that they honestly were not able to be before, and they should come out of this stronger.
Zach & Kayda – Is it weird to say we’re a little worried? It still feels like Zach is open on some level to exploring, but it has not felt like he has had that opportunity as of yet.
Jen & Gabriel – They are together but based on where things are right now, we honestly are not sure how strong they are or not. They’re just not that compelling?
Kenzie & Corbin – Here is where things get messy. Honestly, we’re a little bit disappointed that the show isn’t going to milk their secret kiss all that much moving forward. We do feel for Caleb; that much is obvious.
Sincere & Melanie – Somehow, these two have actually made it back to each other! We were not altogether sure we’d ever make it back here and yet, here we are.
Sol & Caleb – They end up together by default … but just how much chemistry is there going to be here? We haven’t seen them interact much at all. Still, the idea of these two coming together at the start of this installment is easily the most shocking thing we saw.
