Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 episode 5: Connor Storrie’s future

We had a feeling heading into Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 episode 4 that we would be seeing good stuff via Connor Storrie. Now, the stage is effectively set as to what the future here could hold for the Lance character.

With the way that the most-recent installment concluded, you can easily understand why the Heated Rivalry star was meant to do just a one-episode gig. After all, Lance was carted off! What more can you really do with him?

Well, here is the thing — we recognize now that in one way or another, Lance will be back — and we also seem to know the plans for how that will work. According to a report from TV Insider, you are going to be seeing the actor in not just episode 5, but also episode 6 and then episode 9 — in other words, the penultimate story of the season. Could he prove to somehow be an asset to the BAU? It certainly feels that way.

Based at least on what we know so far, a big chunk of the story is going to be based on the search for the Fan, including the BAU using whatever clues are possibly out there in order to guess his next move. Our general feeling here is that the Big Bad wants to use Lance to better understand some of how the BAU moves — that way, they can stay one step ahead of the group. This is in that way a cat-and-mouse game, but one that has repercussions that are far deadlier. There is still more than a half of the season to come, and that means a lot of opportunities for significant shifts.
