ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Lisa Edelstein to work alongside Stana Katic
For those of you waiting to find out some major “Castle” casting news, we have it for you now: Lisa Edelstein is continuing her guest-star tour of duty with an arc on this show!
According to a new report from TVLine, the former “House” star (who has also recently appeared on both “The Good Wife” and “Scandal” has signed on for multiple episodes as Rachel McCord, a Federal Investigator who is tough-as-nails and very accomplished when it comes to her job. The description alone sounds like she is going to be a part of a potential storyline in Washington DC, and what we at least know right now is that this character will end up impacting some decisions that Stana Katic’s character makes on the show in a pretty substantial manner.
“Castle” ended last year with this significant cliffhanger related to the character, where it was made very unclear whether or not we were going to see Beckett continue on with her work in New York City after getting this job offer. What complicated it further was the proposal made by Rick in the closing seconds. She obviously wants to be with him, but at the same time, at least she seems to know now that this is not mutually exclusive to whether or not she is going to be getting to work at her new job. She can have the best of both worlds.
What do you think about this “Castle” news? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts below! If you want to read some more details about the early portion of this season, just be sure to check out the link here.

I don’t think she can have the best of both worlds. She told Jim in the Finale that if she takes this job she won’t have time for anything else. She agreed with Castle on that point. As I opined before, if Castle and Becket are not working a case together, it is not the same show. Does anyone really want to watch Castle, Laney, Espo, and Ryan working a case without Beckett. If so, for how long? Maybe one episode if we see Beckett often enough. I think this is all a smokescreen and the more they plant this idea that Beckett is leaving for D.C., the more I’m convinced of the opposite.

I’m totally agreed with L.E. The show is about Caskett and all the Team, solving crimes together ! Without there is nô more Castle’s show.
