We had a feeling entering Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 9 that we could be getting a big reveal — the finale is right around the corner!

So what did we end up learning over the course of this particular installment? Well, for starters, that there is at least one person tied to Richard Warren still on the island. Not only that, but Tom, Patricia, and Wyck have figured out who it is … all thanks to a really long presentation from Rosemary. It turns out that Ruth not only has ties to Warren, but she was not in the shelter as the storm raged on!

The big question that we are left to wonder now is rather simple, and that is what Tom and Wyck are going to do with the information that they have now. If they actually think that murdering an old woman is going to be the way for them to save the town, will they do it? From one vantage point, that is absurd. Yet, at the same time this is an absurd show where a lot of crazy things happen.

Now, here is where we get into some of the obvious flaws in this way of thinking. For starters, are they going to trust the information that Rosemary managed to come up with in a fairly limited amount of time? There is no real reason right now to think that everything is cut and dry. Also, why was Patricia so hesitant about hearing Rosemary’s presentation in the first place? There is also still a possibility that Ruth is some sort of smokescreen that another person can hide behind. In the end, there are so many ways the story could still go.
