‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: The premiere title, and Booth / Brennan implications

For those of you who have been waiting for some more news from the world of “Bones,” we now have some courtesy of something that is very much appreciated: Finding out the title for the show’s very-first episode back on Monday, September 16.

So what are we looking at here? It’s an episode titled “The Secrets in the Proposal.” Is this great news for those of you who want to see Booth and Brennan together after that horrible engagement gone awry at the end of last season? We like to hope so, though Stephen Nathan tells TVLine that it is really going to be about more than just them:

“We want to continue exploring how Booth and Brennan adjust after their ill-fated proposal and the secret Booth is forced to keep. Secrets will be a theme we keep alive — and dead— in the episode.”

There is going to be all sorts of questions that need to be answered if these two are ever going to end up together, though it is pretty clear from this end that the primary one will be whether or not there is a way to suppress some of Pelant’s threats against the couple so that Booth can come clean about what is really going on, and find a way to put a stop to it so that he can find his ultimate happiness at the end of the day.
