MobLand season 2 premiere date: A June 2026 update
Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about MobLand season 2 between now and the end of June?
Of course, we know that there have been a lot of headlines as of late related to the show, but many of them have been tied to the status of star Tom Hardy. Is he coming back for not after this season? That is something that still remains to be seen. Yet, at the same time we are hoping that there will be an opportunity to hear more about in due time, and we view it to some degree as a separate issue than when the Paramount+ hit actually returns.

Yesterday, the streaming service confirmed that the new season of Lioness is going to be coming out in August, and we do wonder if that means we will be waiting past then for MobLand. From where we sit, that is certainly possible and a September start could potentially take shape. Because there is a good chance that Landman does not return this year, Paramount could space out some of their other hits as much as humanly possible. That means that we could be getting Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown also placed in different parts of the fall.
Now, there is a chance that we will hear at least when MobLand returns before the end of the month but if that happens, it is more likely to be close to the end than where we are right now. We do not believe that they are going to do that much to rush anything along since they still have a considerable amount of time.
