Bridgerton season 5 premiere date: A June 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to learn more about Bridgerton season 5 on Netflix between now and the end of June?
Of course, make no mistake that we would love to be able to have more to share on the future of the period drama before too long — and how could we not? We’ve already heard from the streaming service that we will actually get the next chapter in 2027, which means a far smaller wait than what we have grown accustomed to with this series over the years. It has already started up work behind the scenes, with the focus now being on Francesca and Michaela’s love story. A lot of the groundwork has already been laid.

Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to re-enter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions.
Will we learn more this month?
As great as that would be, we would consider it now to be reasonably unlikely. We are not of the belief that Netflix will choose to rush much of anything along here, simply because they do not need to. There is a lot of time for them to figure out exactly when to promote the series further, and we imagine that the proper time will come either closer to the end of the year or in early 2027. After all, we do not imagine Bridgerton back until next summer or fall.
