Severance season 3 premiere date: A June 2026 update
As we get further into the month of June, are we finally going to start to hear more regarding Severance season 3 over at Apple TV?
If there is one word that the producers obviously want you to know at this point, it is clearly “patience.” How else can you describe the situation at present? We are talking here about a series that wrapped airing its second season more than a year ago but at the same time, here we are waiting more for what is to come. Filming has yet to begin, at least based on the information we have currently. It could kick off soon, but even when that happens, the producers and/or the streaming are likely not going to be sharing much in the way of info as it happens.

So what we are trying to say now is fundamentally quite simple: Don’t expect any sort of major season 2 premiere-date information this month. As a matter of fact, we’d be shocked to learn much of anything at all this year! We had hoped once upon a time that we could dive back into the Lumon mystery in the spring or summer of next year, but we do now question the validity of that. We’re not ready to move off a 2027 return date for Severance, but that is mostly due to quotes we’ve heard from the people involved — including that there is meant to be less of a wait between seasons 2 and 3 than what we had with seasons 1 and 2.
When the series does return, the first order of business will certainly be addressing Mark’s fate — are we even going to see his Outie again? After that, we can get to some other questions, including just what is going to happen to Irving.
