Big Brother 28: Will there be a live move-in?

Can you believe that in less than a month and a half, we are finally going to be at the arrival of Big Brother 28 over on CBS? There is no denying that it has been a long wait already, but we do imagine that the next few weeks are going to bring us some greater activity.

Take, for starters, once we start to hear more discussion about the theme, the house tour, or some other elements that are being thrown out there by producers. We recognize that the cast reveal will likely not come until a few days before the premiere airs, so we could be waiting a while longer to get more news on that.

For the sake of this article in particular, it really just feels right to focus on a question that we know is already out there: Are we going to be seeing a live move-in for this season? For those unaware, this is where the houseguests are actually brought into the house as we watch them live on premiere night, something that ensures that we get a chance to watch the whole season from night one. For those who love watching the show for the live feeds, this is often the preferable option — after all, it helps to ensure that we do not miss a single day of the action.

Now with that being said, CBS has yet to say anything to make us hope that such a move-in is happening with Big Brother. From a production standpoint, it is likely easier to move in houseguests a couple of days before the premiere. This gives them time to settle in but beyond just that, allows them to pre-tape both some competitions and confessionals. This may create a better product for TV viewers, but also at the expense of what we love so much about the feeds. Hence, why a lot of this can end up being rather complicated.
