Sheriff Country season 1 episode 20 (finale) promo: Will Mickey learn?
In six days we are going to have a chance to see Sheriff Country season 1 episode 20 arrive on CBS, and one thing ultimately feels rather clear: We are at a point now where the stakes are higher than ever. Unfortunately, also a spot where Mickey does not have all the information.
From where we sit at the moment, we are well-aware of the fact that Alec is not one to be trusted — as a matter of fact, he is a murderer! Yet, he is presenting himself to Morena Baccarin’s character as a reasonably-kind man and a straight-up love interest, which makes her perhaps even more blind to the truth. There is no denying that she is good at her job but at the same exact time, everyone has their weakness — and this is understandably hers.

Based on the promo that aired last night for the finale, things are going to get worse before they get better. There is a shot in there that suggests that Mickey is about to get some really bad news, and we wonder already if that is going to be the launching-off point for a lot of chaos and/or despair that comes after the fact. We could easily envision a standoff at the end of the finale that causes Mickey to rethink almost everything about her life.
The biggest fear that comes from all this
Ultimately, it is rather simple: That Mickey has a hard time trusting anyone in general after this and to some extent, wouldn’t that make sense? We tend to think so, but we want to believe that she will still find something great eventually. This is just a drama series built on conflict, though, so it is not likely to come about quickly.
