Dutton Ranch trailer: Chaos, Beth, Rip, and a leopard

With the premiere of Dutton Ranch coming in a little bit more than a week over at Paramount+, why not set the stage for it further?

Today, the folks over at the streaming service unveiled a brand-new trailer that better sets the stage for what is to come, and there are a few notable changes from Yellowstone. If you are not aware, the show is set in Texas rather than Montana, and we would say not to expect a ton of familiar faces beyond Beth, Rip, and Carter — at least in terms of who the streaming service are sharing publicly.

You can see the full trailer now over here; if you have not seen the official Dutton Ranch synopsis, you can check that out below:

As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.

Ultimately, we do tend to think the most random element of the trailer is the leopard that turns up close to the end for some unknown reason. Personally, we just think it is tied to some of the crazy and lawless ways of some people in this part of the country. The goal with a lot of these stories will be keeping viewers on their toes. We tend to think that in general, any hope that Beth may have of finding peace is going to be short-lived. What would a show like this be without conflict?
