What can we say about Marshals season 1 episode 10 leading to its arrival on CBS next week? Let’s just start off here by noting the following: There is so much to be excited for still. There are four episodes still to come in the Luke Grimes series, and we imagine that these are going to be a combination of a few different things: Yellowstone lore, action, drama, and backstories on some of the newcomers.

This, in the end, brings us to “Playing with Fire,” a story that could prove to be as important for the past as it is the present.

“Playing with Fire” – After a prison bus crash, two Marshals face ghosts from the past when the team splits up to hunt down the escapees and triage the injured, on the CBS Original series MARSHALS, Sunday, May 3 (8:00-8:59 PM, ET/ PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Ultimately, this feels on paper like one of those stories that could not only be dramatic, but also influence what we see from these characters the rest of the way. While this is a show that has some procedural components, we have seen it at times venture into more serialized directions. For now, it is that combination of things that makes it rather exciting, and also helps it to stand out. (We remain happy to know that there is a season 2 coming, as it does take some of the pressure off the rest of the way.)
