The Pitt season 2 episode 14 preview: The last before finale

As we look towards The Pitt season 2 episode 14 on HBO Max next week, there is one primary thing to note: We are just about at the end of the story. This is the penultimate story of the season and for a lot of these doctors, their shifts are ironically already over. The creative team has come up with some ways to keep a lot of them around for now, but how long will that last?

We’re not even going to sit around and pretend on what the top story is at this point, as it has to be the decision as to whether or not Dr. Robby is going to stay at the hospital. He has said he wants to go on the sabbatical — so what is really stopping him?

Ultimately, we do think the next two episodes are going to give us an answer on that, but then also a number of other ones as well, including if we see Dr. Langdon stay put, what happens with some of the patients, and hopefully a couple more heart-to-hearts with Dr. Abbot given that it seems like he will be around the rest of the day.

We do know that there is a season 3 coming for The Pitt, so we are of course curious if there is going to be a larger cliffhanger this season than what we saw back in season 1. Personally, we do tend to think that the show doesn’t need something like that … but they have had a tendency to surprise us here and there. Why would we suddenly think that is about to change.
