Shrinking season 3 episode 11 (finale): Could Paul still stay?

At this particular moment in time, we tend to think that a lot of people out there are aware that Shrinking season 3 episode 11 marks the all-important finale. Are you ready for what that means?

Well, we have to acknowledge that this is a story that could offer up a great deal of closure. Heck, given that at one point the comedy was pitched as a three-season arc, we do wonder if it will feel like a series finale. (The series has actually been renewed.) Are things going to end in a way where characters drift apart? It is fair to wonder given that Alice is going to college and at the same time, Paul is planning to move to the East Coast.

The major questions that we have at this point come down to Harrison Ford’s character. Does he really have to go out there? Why couldn’t Meg and her family head west? Also, what is happening with his wife? This is really the biggest question about season 4 that we have at the moment, mostly because Alice will always have a tie to Jimmy and everyone else — she’s the daughter of the main character! Paul is different and at this point, there is no information out there suggesting that the Indiana Jones actor is leaving.

For now, we would just say to prepare for all possibilities entering the finale. It is possible that Paul stays put in California. Or, could he leave and then decide to come back in season 4? If Ford is still a major part of the cast, that is something that we will argue is possible — or, at least we feel that way at present.
