AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Is Seward’s time up?
As we said in our full review for Sunday night’s new episode of “The Killing,” we may have just had the luxury of watching what is the strongest episode that the show has presented to us all season long. Every story moved forward, and it culminated with a shocker to really end all shockers: Seeing Pastor Mike in the back of Linden’s car, basically forcing her to do almost anything and everything that he wanted.
So what exactly is he hoping for? What the promo below shows us is rather unusual, as he directs her into what looks like a parking garage, and then tells her to turn off the lights. To us, that suggests that he’s not out to kill her, given that there are about a billion better places that he could do that and not get caught. But what does he really want? We figure it can’t be good, either, since that knife has dug it’s hole even deeper.
While Linden is struggling to deal with this, Seward faces an equally threatening challenge in that his life now hangs in the balance, and one of his greatest defenders is nowhere to be seen. Holder has proven himself to be a great cop, but he doesn’t know the case quite as well; not only that, but detectives have partners for a reason, given that there is really only so much that each person can do individually to figure out a case.
We are nearing the climax of this season, though, given that there are only six episodes left. Therefore, we almost expect every one of them to have an ending as shocking as what we saw here.
What do you want to see happen on “The Killing” moving forward? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and head over here if you want to read our most-recent review.

I know who the killer is, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy. The only hint that I’ll give is that Seward knows who it is. Ask yourself, who has the power to make Seward voluntarily walk to his own death and disavow his own son? Is it because he is protecting someone or is scared of someone? Maybe both?
