The Traitors US season 5 cast: Is a reveal coming this spring?

It may seem strange given that season 4 aired a short time ago, but could we actually be learning more about The Traitors US season 5 sooner rather than later?

Well, here is the funny thing about the Peacock reality show in general — it tends to operate on a unique timeline where filming happens in the late spring / summer, and that does mean that we get a cast reveal earlier than expected. That is something that could actually happen before we get to mid-June, with one major caveat thrown in here.

Last year, the cast reveal came about the second week of June, but is that going to change thanks to the newbie version of the show? The NBC version is heavily into casting at this point, and it remains to be seen if it will film before or after the Peacock version. That could heavily dictate when the latter gets its cast revealed.

As for why that happens so early on in the first place (especially since it does not often air until January), let’s just say that it is very-much tied to the fact that the producers want to control their own narrative. They likely do feel a sentiment that the cast is going to be revealed at some point anyway, and they would rather be the ones to disclose some of the information rather than allowing social media to do it instead. We do not expect any huge shifts to the casting formula, but we do hope that there are fewer Real Housewives this time just because that has started to become a little too predictable for our liking. Also, can you get a few people from Jersey Shore in here?
