For those who have not heard already, NCIS season 23 episode 13 is going to be more than just your standard episode of the crime drama. To be more specific, we are talking here about the epic 500th installment of an institution. This is a story that will harken back to the early days but at the same time, also one that could end up changing the entire world of the crime drama as we know it.

If you have kept up-to-date on a lot of the teases around this episode, then you know that it is being described as profoundly emotional. Now, we do just have to wait and see what that ultimately means…

To get a few more details on the story, including its very-cryptic title, go ahead and check out the full season 23 episode 13 synopsis below:

“All Good Things” – When the son of a Marine that Gibbs once helped comes to NCIS in desperation, the fractured team reunites off the books. But chasing justice without a badge may cost them more than their careers, on the 500th episode of the CBS Original series NCIS, Tuesday, March 24 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Obviously, this title is a play on “all good things come to an end,” so does this mean that the team is preparing to say goodbye? Well, we know that there is a season 24, so it is hard to imagine it being shut down entirely. However, at the same time there could still be some fundamental changes and for now, that is definitely something we have to prepare for. Just get your tissue boxes to go along with it.
