Survivor 50 episode 3 spoilers: Boomerang idol fallout
As we look towards Survivor 50 episode 3 on CBS next week, is a major player in the game about to be … Billie Eilish? Well, on one level this is crazy. However, at the same time it may be true, given that the boomerang idols are going to factor into the game now more than ever.
After all, the preview for what is ahead strongly suggested that a tribe swap is imminent, and that means there is a chance that people like Genevieve and Ozzy may end up on the same tribe. It benefits her to get someone like him out, largely due to the fact that she then gets the idol herself. The same goes, meanwhile, or Christian with Aubry. This is a unique wrinkle to the game and while this era gets a little bit complicated, we at least appreciate the effort that went into designing this. (It’s at least better than Fire Tokens!)

Knowledge is power as the boomerang idols begin to rear their heads within tribes. Then, past mistakes and baggage haunt players in their quest for redemption on SURVIVOR 50, Wednesday, March 11 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Jeff Probst serves as host and executive producer.
The people in the most danger at a tribe swap are likely those who have gone from a powerful spot to a place of vulnerability. After all, the idea could be to take people out while the opportunity is there. We would be worried then about people like Ozzy, Christian, Stephenie, or Coach, who seemed to be in a good place. Also, this is especially a good time to take out Ozzy, since he may not expect to be targeted right now.
