The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere date: A March 2026 update

Now that we are very-much into the month of March, is there something more to say regarding The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 at Netflix?

First and foremost, we do think that it is still worth rejoicing that there is another season already on the way! The streaming service did something in advance that we felt was extremely kind: Giving us a heads-up really early that there would be more. That is something that makes life so much easier, and we are now in a spot where we just have to sit back and see if something more is revealed before too long. Filming is happening throughout the spring, and that will give the powers-that-be a lot of optionality as to what they want to do moving forward.

So does said optionality mean that a premiere-date announcement is coming soon? As great as that would be, it feels unlikely. From where we sit, we tend to think that winter / spring 2027 is the most-likely window for the next chapter of The Lincoln Lawyer, mostly because Netflix does not feel the need to rush anything along. We do tend to think that we are not getting more than a season in a single year, largely because there are a lot of other shows coming beforehand.

As for whether or not season 5 is the final one…

From where we stand, that feels unlikely. There is so much source material out there and beyond just that, this is not as costly as a number of other shows that Netflix has. If we were them, we would hope to get at least a few more seasons out of this — though that will continue to require a good bit of effort as well as promotion.
