Ted Lasso season 4 premiere date hopes as filming wraps
As we inch ever closer to the arrival of Ted Lasso season 4 over on Apple TV, we have even more outstanding news when it comes to the future!
So, where can we start off here? How about by noting that filming is officially done! Hannah Waddingham (who plays Rebecca) confirmed this while at the BAFTA Film Awards over the weekend, and it makes sense given the fact that the cast and crew started off at work this past summer. This means that over the next few months, the producers can work simply to ensure that the remainder of these stories are properly edited and ready to go — and that’s important, since a show of this size and scale needs some time to put together. In particular, we mean this for the arena scenes.

Now when it comes to specific premiere dates, is there anything in particular we can say now? Well, Apple TV has already confirmed that the next season will be out this summer — so that is not something that you need to think too much about. Now as for when, summer is still a pretty large range!
We have noted in the past that July still feels to be the window that makes the most sense, and for a number of different reasons. It means that post-production will not be rushed, but also that Ted Lasso can take advantage of a real gap in the sports market. While we recognize that this is no substitute for a sporting even, there is no NBA or NFL this time of year. That means that viewers may be looking to dive into something different — and also, we know that the Jason Sudeikis series has performed pretty well in this window in the past.
