The Traitors US season 4 finale promo: The trial by fire

As we prepare for The Traitors US season 4 finale next week, we more than recognize the internet discourse at this point. Based on where things stand, you can argue easily that Rob Rausch has played the most dominant game. Not only that, but he has a chance to join Cirie Fields as the best Traitor this version of the show has ever seen.

So is he going to be able to pull that off? Well, a lot depends here on the decisions that are made in the immediate future — but the promo last night did not give that much away.

Now, it does appear that this season is going to end in front of the fire, the same way that the past few have. The question now is simply who makes it there. First and foremost, there is another murder and from where we stand, it makes sense to pluck either Johnny Weir or Tara Lipinski off. You can’t keep the two of them around any longer, given that they are almost certain to vote together the rest of the way. Then, you have another banishment — and that is where we think Eric Nam and Rob can go after either the surviving Olympian or Mark Ballas.

At this point, it feels like the path to the finale here is rather simple: Rob getting there with Eric and then Maura Higgins. He could convince her that if there is a Traitor left, it is Eric — then, he can blindside her at the end and get the money all for himself. If he does want to win with Eric that opportunity is also there — but it may be difficult since Eric could actually be the next person banished. After all, there is a lot of chatter about how quiet he was at the last Roundtable.
