Survivor 50 video: What is Genevieve Mushaluk’s plan?

Going into Survivor 50, there is a reason why Genevieve Mushaluk is one of the most popular players among the online fan base. Not only is she a relentless strategist and a great puzzle-solver, but she also had an incredibly unique story arc! This is someone who came into the game deliberately trying to not make friends, hoping that this would allow her to make moves strictly from a logical point of view. It basically put her in a position where she had to compartmentalize between who she was in confessionals, and then the person she was in the game actively working to make blindsides happen.

There is certainly a part of us worried that this play-style is the sort of thing that could put a big target on her back moving into her second go-around — and for the record, Genevieve is well-aware that it could.

If you head over to the link here, you can see a new video where she explains what her Survivor 50 gameplan is, including that she does want to show more of her true self the other players. Since they all know who she is now, it’s a little bit harder to hold anything back.

Genevieve is a gamer and from where we sit, it feels like her best move will be to eventually link up with other gamers — think along the lines of Christian, Mike White, Cirie, and even a flashy player like Rick Devens. It could work to her benefit to even be around a winner like Savannah or Dee for a while. Let other big targets try to be the public face while you get things done behind the scenes — she is absolutely one of those players who becomes more formidable as the game goes along and she can properly assess all the players.

In other words, we tend to think that if Genevieve can get through the first few Tribal Councils, she could be in a good spot.
