The Pitt season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Big Langdon reveal ahead?

Is there a chance that we are going to be learning something substantial about Dr. Langdon on The Pitt season 2 episode 4? There is a case to be made for it, especially when you think about some intriguing visual sequences that have been shown around the character so far.

If we are to get more specific here, let’s just say that it is tied to the character’s personal life. We know that back in the first season Langdon was married and on paper, there is no reason to question it! However, we have also seen brief sequences (including him at a locker early this season) where he is inexplicably not wearing a ring. Meanwhile, he is wearing a ring when out treating patients on the floor.

So what is going on here? We know that there could be a school of people out there who think that this is some sort of oddity or mistake when it comes to editing … but we’re not so sure. This is a wedding ring we are talking about, and it is a pretty enormous prop to simply overlook. Our feeling instead is that there are some small clues buried on the show about Langdon’s personal life that could play out as the season goes along.

We know that there are some ways in which Patrick Ball’s character is doing better this season, with the biggest one being that he’s gone through treatment and it seems as though he will do better at work. However, doing better on the job does not guarantee that all is well and good in his personal life, and he may be using the work as a distraction. After all, we know that Robby is doing that in his own way…
